This Week: Reducing Costs and Expanding Healthcare Reach…MaaS360 style
by Jim Szafranski, Fiberlink
While our elected officials in Washington write the latest chapter in the Healthcare debate this week, I would like to declare the next seven days Healthcare week here on the MaaS360 blog. I promise to deliver insights, new research, and a low cost, simple to use solution for anyone looking to improve their healthcare information technology (IT) compliance for mobile devices. And, on top of that, no new taxes!
In my initial posting, today, I will look at why mobility is so important to healthcare organizations and the emergence of mHealth. In a second posting, tomorrow, I will look at the results of an independent study by Forrester® Consulting about concerns of healthcare companies related to mobility, security and regulatory compliance. And, I won’t stop there. I’m working on a post that will remain a surprise for a few days, but it’s safe to say that it will provide instant care and ongoing preventative health to any organization addressing compliance for mobile devices around electronic protected health information (ePHI) privacy or overall HIPAA compliance.
So, with that said, welcome to Healthcare Week!
